Born in Israel, Omer Goldberg started his studies at the town's Conservatory. After completing his Bachelor degree at the Jerusalem Academy of Music under the guidance of Joseph Urshlami, he continued his studies at the Kassel Music Academy in Germany, under the guidance of the famous german guitarist Wolfgang Lendle.

During his studies in Germany, Omer performed with the Kassel Guitar Ensemble directed by Michael Tröster, and in the project "3 Guitar Duos", playing together with the japanese guitarist Ryosuke Hara.

After 1 year in Barcelona, studying with Laura Young, Omer came back to Berlin, Germany, where he performs and teaches at the Hans Werner Henze Music School.

Omer has played as solist, in a duo and guitar ensemble in Israel, Germany, Spain and Japan.
